On July 26, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Lancs Network Technology Joint Stock Company (Lancs Networks) received and worked with the Delegation of Vietnam Cybersecurity Emergency Response Teams & Coordination Center (VNCERT/CC) at the headquarters of Lancs Networks. VNCERT/CC’s visit brings an opportunity for Lancs Networks to introduce the company’s core technology and product range, notably the technology solutions developed by Vietnamese people for reliable operations of national cybersecurity.
Vietnam Cybersecurity Emergency Response Teams & Coordination Center (VNCERT/CC) is a public non-business unit under the Department of Information Security – Ministry of Information and Communications, with the function of becoming a technical focal point to coordinate rescue cyber security incidents and check information nationwide. One of VNCERT/CC’s missions is to seek, support and promote the development of Vietnamese organizations and enterprises that own technology products, thereby contributing to serving the common interests of the country.
During the business appointment on July 26, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Founder, Chief Technology Officer of Lancs Networks, Mr. Ha The Truong – CEO of Lancs Networks, and Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan – Director and staff of VNCERT/CC Center had an in-depth discussion about Lancs Networks’ core technology and products range.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that Lancs Networks’ international-standard network products with specific characteristics of network security and safety are developed from 2 proprietary core technologies of the company: Lancs NOS and Lancs FPGA. Listening to Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh’s sharing, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan asked some questions about product specifications and company information. Through the in-depth exchange of technology and techniques, VNCERT/CC has seen cooperation opportunities. When accompanying Lancs Networks, VNCERT/CC will be able to fulfill their missions.
They also mentioned technology solutions to help improve the network of children’s rescue and protection in the online environment in Vietnam – a national network safety and security project that VNCERT/CC is implementing presently. Lancs Networks expressed their willingness to contribute technology products and solutions to the work of improving national network safety and security with VNCERT/CC. In order to concretize this goodwill, Lancs Networks proposed that in the near future, both sides will choose a number of localities to install equipment, and assess child protection level in the network environment of VNCERT/CC implementing project. VNCERT/CC side welcomes this proposal and will quickly implement the next cooperation steps right in the third quarter of this year.
