Lancs Networks Participates in the Opening Ceremony of the Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology

On September 27, 2023, Lancs Vietnam Network Technology Joint Stock Company (Lancs Networks) participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship (CCE Hub) at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). Our aim is to collaboratively prevent the climate crisis by applying autonomy technology in environmental engineering devices.

The climate crisis has posed complex challenges globally, especially in the developing countries. In this context, the CCE Hub (Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship) program emerged as an initiative to promptly solve urgent problems, while connecting a network of businesses operating in the field of climate solutions, thereby contributing to the development of the regional economy.

Mainly operating in the field of network security and safety, however, Lancs Networks does not forget our responsibility to contribute and apply the company’s technological innovations to the act of environmental protection and solving the common climate crisis of the country and the world, in accordance with the development orientation of CCE Hub. Currently, Lancs Networks owns and has the ability to apply two exclusive core technologies (Lancs NOS and Lancs FPGA) and a technology solution about to be released to the public (LINKSAFE) in the field of science and technology to serve the environment issue:

Applying Lancs FPGA technology solution in building a system of environmental measurement and monitoring devices

FPGA is programmed to be able to perform measurement tasks and process data from environmental sensor devices such as measuring temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality sensors, and many other environmental parameters. These data can then be used to monitor climate change and analyze important information, thereby helping to make decisions about climate change prevention and environmental protection. This technological initiative can help various units operating in fields directly related to the environment (such as eco-tourism, agriculture – fisheries, etc.) develop in modernized and efficient methods.

Developing IoT Devices (Internet of Things Devices) by using the Lancs Networks’s technology which helps in power-saving and environment protection.

IoT devices can be used to monitor and manage the energy consumption of electrical devices in a home or in a business. From there, users can effectively control and reduce energy consumption, helping to save electricity costs and protect the environment. Developing IoT devices using Lancs Networks’ core technology will help reduce individual energy consumption, contribute to protecting global energy sources, and prevent factors that affect climate change.

Lancs Networks’ technology development orientation is consistent with CCE Hub’s operational deployment orientation. The opening of CCE Hub in Vietnam is expected to become a “bridge for the business community”, a destination for startups to exchange and cooperate in sustainable development fields such as energy clean, climate finance, green finance, sustainable agriculture, etc.

“The US State Department, along with our hosting and implementing partners, are prepared to use this hub in the coming years to identify sustainability-focused entrepreneurs, convene them here in this space, and equip them with the tools and resources they need to scale climate solutions to market”, said by Mrs. Dorothy McAuliffe, Special Representative for Global Partnerships in the United States Department of State in the assigning and opening ceremony of CCE Hub.

Dr. Trinh Thanh Binh, advisor of the Board of Directors of Lancs Network, affirmed: “This center can help form initiatives, projects with technical transfer or deeper research projects, from there can be applied to the operations of economic enterprises, not only in Vietnam but also in other countries in the region”.
